Membership Opportunites
Operational Volunteer Opportunities We have two volunteer units for those who want to be in the field and respond to calls. These “operational members” serve in two teams when responding to calls.
- Firefighters
respond to calls by riding on the Fire Truck/Engine carrying the tools and equipment to handle fires. - Rescue Squad members are EMS providers with equipment and training to respond to medical emergencies.
Non-Operational Memberships We offer a variety of opportunities to volunteer your special talents to enhance the quality of care our members provide. Sharing the gift of your time can make a difference in many lives.
Our Associate and Auxiliary members remain an integral part of the Lake of the Woods mission. You can participate in public education, fundraising, special events, and activities, help with member services, or assist our volunteers in providing essential services to our local communities through on-scene support.
